Experienced Health Care Assistant – Full Time

About the role

Evergreen Care is seeking an experienced Health Care Assistant to join the team at its Carlingford Nursing Home. This full‑time position involves delivering person‑centred care to residents, supporting their independence, privacy and dignity.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with a team of Health Care Assistants under the direction of the nursing staff.
• Provide high‑quality, person‑centred care that meets the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of residents.
• Promote a caring environment that upholds the privacy and dignity of each resident.
• Assist residents with daily living activities and support them to live independently wherever possible.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for caring and a strong interest in aged care.
• Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant (essential).
• Compassionate nature with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Relevant QQI Level 5 qualification in Health Care Support preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to undertake further training and CPD.
