About the role

We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join a specialist recruitment business in Dublin, managing a busy financial services desk with an existing client base, vacancies and candidate network.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes for specialist financial services positions, from candidate engagement to placement.
• Deliver high‑quality placements on an already active desk with a strong flow of vacancies and established client relationships.
• Focus on delivery rather than cold business development, maintaining momentum on existing opportunities.
• Build and nurture relationships with senior clients and candidates, ensuring credibility and long‑term partnerships.
• Contribute to the desk’s success while benefiting from an attractive commission and bonus structure.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Recruitment Consultant, preferably within financial services or other specialist sectors.
• Ability to work independently, taking ownership of a desk and delivering results without close supervision.
• Strong self‑motivation, autonomy and a focus on quality and credibility.
• Excellent communication skills with both candidates and senior clients.
• Commitment to delivering high‑quality placements and earning strong commission.
