Export Specialist – Fixed-Term Contract

About the role

The Export Specialist will prepare, review and manage all export documentation required for international shipments, ensuring full compliance with global trade regulations, customs requirements and company policies.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and negotiate with freight forwarders.
• Coordinate with internal and external departments, trading banks and customers.
• Obtain customer approval for export documents.
• Create, assemble and submit export documents in line with country-specific requirements.
• Assist with invoice creation and follow up with suppliers and vendors for timely document delivery.
• Proofread commercial documents.
• Keep clients and relevant parties informed of transport arrangements and shipment status from departure to arrival.
• Track each export shipment and monitor changes to departure and arrival dates.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Incoterms 2020.
• Understanding of customs procedures, export controls and trade compliance.
• Experience with export documentation platforms such as Chambers of Commerce systems.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) preferred.
