F&B Assistant - Weekday Breakfast

About the role
The Hardiman is looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Assistant to support weekday breakfast service. You will be part of a historic hotel team that prides itself on warm hospitality and high service standards.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver consistent, high‑quality service to all guests.
- Recognise and greet regular guests by name.
- Maintain solid knowledge of menu items, beverages and wine, and make confident recommendations.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional interaction at all times.
- Upsell where appropriate to maximise revenue.
- Assist in the lounge, restaurant, or other departments as required.
Required profile
- Previous experience in a 4‑ or 5‑star hotel environment is preferred.
- Background in a high‑volume, fast‑paced food and beverage operation.
- Fluent English with excellent communication skills.
Required skills
- Experience with the Micros point‑of‑sale system.
