Field Service Engineer – Coffee Equipment

About the role

The Field Service Engineer for coffee equipment installs, maintains and repairs commercial and domestic coffee machines at client sites. Acting as the face of CPM, you will ensure high customer satisfaction through prompt, professional service and technical advice.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and install coffee machines and related equipment, complying with safety standards.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on coffee machines, grinders and accessories.
• Diagnose faults, replace parts and carry out on‑site or workshop repairs.
• Provide technical advice, training and troubleshooting support to customers.
• Complete detailed service reports, log parts used and keep accurate records.
• Manage van stock levels and order replacement parts as needed.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies on client premises.
• Build and maintain positive client relationships, explaining faults and repairs clearly.
• Travel across assigned regions, visiting multiple client sites daily.

Required profile

• Field service experience in electrical or mechanical maintenance, preferably with coffee machines or similar equipment.
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving abilities, able to work independently.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with a customer‑centric approach.
• Good time‑management and record‑keeping skills.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional unsociable hours, including weekends or evenings.
• Full, valid driving licence.
• IT literacy for using asset‑management systems.
