Field Service Technician – Maintenance & Repair

About the role

As a Field Service Technician at Ricoh you will deliver professional, on‑site maintenance and repair services for our customers, ensuring high satisfaction and reliable equipment performance.

Key responsibilities

• Provide efficient installation, maintenance and repair of Ricoh equipment at customer sites.
• Meet agreed Service Level Agreements and ensure full customer satisfaction.
• Identify revenue‑generating opportunities while performing day‑to‑day duties.
• Manage vehicle stock to improve first‑time‑fix rates and minimise losses.
• Carry out indoor and outdoor technical installations.

Required profile

• Electrical/Electronics knowledge with aptitude for AC (230 V) and low‑voltage DC (24 V‑5 V) systems.
• Ability to use a multimeter for voltage and resistance measurements.
• Logical troubleshooting and fault‑finding skills for electrical and mechanical issues.
• Proficiency with PC software – downloading/uploading firmware, connecting to devices and using configuration applications.
• Mechanical aptitude to understand principles and diagnose faults.
• Strong communication skills to convey technical information and read schematics.
• Good knowledge of Ricoh products and company service procedures.
