Finance Director – Modular Construction

About the role

Amicus is seeking a Finance Director to lead the finance function of its fast‑growing modular construction business. As a senior member of the leadership team, you will partner with the Managing Director and Group Leadership Team to drive commercial value‑add while the company scales from €12M to €25M in revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Provide financial control, cash conversion and operational governance across an expanding project portfolio.
• Oversee construction accounting including work‑in‑progress, contract profitability, revenue recognition under FRS 102/IFRS 15, claims and variations.
• Manage treasury, working capital and funding to support rapid growth.
• Own budgeting, scenario‑based forecasting and commercial contract reviews.
• Optimise finance systems and processes using Microsoft Business Central.
• Lead financial risk, compliance and the development of a high‑performing finance team.

Required profile

• CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualified accountant.
• 8+ years post‑qualification experience in construction or a project‑based environment.
• Strong technical expertise in project accounting, working capital management and financial modelling.
• Hands‑on experience with Business Central or an equivalent ERP system.
• Proven ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels and partner with senior leadership.
