Finance Manager

About the role

Flipdish is looking for a Finance Manager to join its growing finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring that finance operations are accurate, controlled and scalable across multiple entities, while supporting the company’s rapid expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Own the month‑end close process, including preparation of monthly accounts and consolidation across entities.
• Lead and develop a small finance team (three direct reports), fostering clarity, accountability and high performance.
• Drive ad‑hoc finance projects such as system and process improvements, grant management and other strategic initiatives.
• Review and strengthen finance policies, procedures and internal controls to reduce risk.
• Manage end‑to‑end tax compliance, coordinating filings, deadlines and payments.
• Lead the year‑end audit process and prepare reporting packs for subsidiary and consolidated accounts.
• Analyse company costs, identify savings opportunities and support better financial decision‑making.
• Support the development of group‑wide internal controls as the business scales.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with relevant post‑qualification experience.
• Strong technical accounting capability across monthly accounts, consolidation, audit, tax and controls.
• Proven experience leading and developing a small, high‑performing finance team.
• Working knowledge of tax compliance, including coordinating filings and payments.
• Track record of improving monthly financial processes and increasing efficiency.
• Experience writing, reviewing and enforcing finance policies and procedures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially with senior stakeholders.
