Finance Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Officer to join our finance team within a specialised technical infrastructure company operating across Europe. The role will involve supporting all aspects of the finance function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.

Key responsibilities

• Manage creditor statement reconciliations and coordinate scheduled supplier payments
• Raise both external and intercompany sales invoices
• Process daily bank entries and perform regular bank reconciliations
• Work closely with site managers and suppliers to investigate and resolve invoice‑related queries in a timely manner
• Collaborate with the Commercial team to support the preparation and generation of invoices
• Assist with month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Support operational cost reporting and complete balance sheet reconciliations across multiple entities
• Provide support with financial reporting requirements
• Monitor and report on monthly cash flow projections
• Ad hoc duties as required

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role working across accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment across multiple locations
