Finance Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join our fast‑paced Finance team. You will support General Ledger activities, prepare management accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial information across the business.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly management accounts, accruals, pre‑payments and overhead analysis.
• Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and post monthly depreciation journals.
• Analyse actual costs versus accruals, investigate variances and produce balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Support month‑end close, business‑unit P&L reporting and profit‑and‑loss analysis.
• Assist with year‑end audit, statutory accounts and provide documentation for audit queries.
• Manage intercompany accounting, ledgers and reconciliations.
• Contribute to finance projects, system updates and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Relevant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Accounting Technician qualification or part‑qualified ACCA/ACA/CIMA is also considered.
• Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
• Ability to handle high‑volume workloads, meet tight deadlines and work in a dynamic environment.
