About the role
We are partnering with a well‑established, fast‑growing software business in South Dublin to hire a Financial Accountant. This role offers full ownership of financial reporting for two Irish business units, providing a unique chance to shape the finance function at an exciting time.
Key responsibilities
- Own the month‑end close process, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and management reporting for two entities.
- Lead statutory reporting and prepare the annual financial statements.
- Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and manage the audit process from start to finish.
- Ensure tax compliance, handling corporation tax, VAT returns and other Irish statutory filings.
Required profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
- Minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience.
- Self‑starter with strong communication skills, able to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
- Coachable, ambitious and seeking a long‑term career within a global group.
