Financial Accountant

About the role

This position is for a Financial Accountant (or Assistant Financial Accountant) within an established, internationally recognised organisation. The role offers exposure to a broad range of financial activities in a fast‑paced, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts, analyse variances and investigate discrepancies.
• Complete monthly reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare statutory reporting requirements and liaise with external auditors.
• Provide financial analysis and commercial support to the wider business.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across financial reporting processes and systems.
• Assist with ad‑hoc finance projects and other duties as required.

Required profile

• Qualified or Part‑Qualified Accountant.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge.
• Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail.
• Motivated, adaptable and eager to develop professionally.
• Commercially aware with strong business acumen.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to engage confidently with senior management.
