Financial Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a growing organisation. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, robust controls and supporting strategic decisions while contributing to the finance function’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead month‑end close, prepare management accounts and post journals, accruals and adjustments.
• Produce cash‑flow forecasts, working‑capital analysis and provide commentary on variances.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis and review of assumptions.
• Oversee bank and cash reconciliations and manage indirect‑tax compliance.
• Partner with operational teams for cost allocation, project reporting and continuous improvement of financial systems.
• Assist with year‑end audit preparation and provide ad‑hoc financial analysis.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or equivalent).
• 3–5 years post‑qualification experience in financial or management accounting.
• Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, contracting or project‑based environments is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
