About the role
Our client, an established and growing organisation in the FMCG sector, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Financial Controller. Reporting to the CFO, you will lead the finance function and support the delivery of key business objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare monthly management accounts, KPIs and financial reporting.
- Manage budgets, forecasts and cash‑flow performance.
- Oversee statutory reporting, tax compliance and annual audits.
- Support commercial decision‑making and business improvement initiatives.
- Strengthen internal controls and improve financial processes and systems.
- Lead and develop the finance team.
Required profile
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in a senior finance role.
- Experience managing a finance function and partnering with senior management.
- Strong financial reporting, compliance and commercial finance expertise.
- Experience in Retail/FMCG/Manufacturing environments is advantageous.
- Experience implementing finance or ERP systems is desirable.
