Financial Controller

About the role

Blanco Niño is seeking a hands‑on Financial Controller to own the accuracy, control and timeliness of its financial data. Based at the Clonmel factory, you will work closely with the Finance Director to ensure the business can make confident decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day finance operations, including transaction recording, payroll processing and key reconciliations.
• Own the preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts and reporting packages.
• Reconcile core balances such as bank, payroll and other key accounts.
• Maintain and improve financial controls across the finance function.
• Identify and implement automation, consistency and clarity improvements in finance processes.
• Support stock counts and build strong relationships with the production team, being on‑site at least three days a week.

Required profile

• Senior‑level finance professional with solid accounting foundation.
• Experience in month‑end close, payroll, and management reporting.
• Hands‑on attitude and willingness to work on‑site in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to drive process improvements.
