Finishing Foreman – Residential Development

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Foreman to lead the finishing works on a flagship mixed‑housing and apartment development in West Cork. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality homes on schedule while working closely with the Site Manager and a range of subcontractors.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all finishing works from first‑fix completion through to handover across housing and apartment units.
• Coordinate and supervise finishing trades, subcontractors and suppliers on site.
• Oversee snagging, de‑snagging, inspections and final handovers, ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards.
• Carry out regular quality inspections, maintain detailed defect records and ensure homes meet the highest standards.
• Build strong relationships with subcontractors, consultants and the wider project team to ensure smooth delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Finishing Foreman on large residential developments.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high‑quality housing and apartment projects.
• Strong knowledge of finishing trades, quality control, snagging and handover processes.
• Excellent coordination skills for managing subcontractors and finishing programmes.
• Trade qualification or relevant construction background preferred.
