Fleet Safety Process Owner Manager

About the role

The Manager, Safe Fleet Process Owner will develop, implement and oversee global fleet and road safety programs for Johnson & Johnson and its upcoming DePuy Synthes business. Working across the United States, Ireland, the United Kingdom and other locations, the role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, reduces risk for employees, contractors and the public, and drives continuous improvement in transportation safety performance. The position reports to senior environmental health and safety leadership and collaborates with cross‑functional teams to embed safety into daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, launch and maintain global fleet and road safety policies, procedures and standards.
• Ensure all programs meet local and international regulatory compliance requirements.
• Identify safety risks, develop mitigation strategies and monitor their effectiveness.
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives that protect employees, contractors and the public while improving safety metrics.
• Collect, analyse and report safety performance data to senior leadership.
• Support the transition of the orthopaedics business to the standalone DePuy Synthes entity, aligning safety processes with new organisational structures.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing fleet or road safety programs in a multinational environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive safety initiatives.
• Strong understanding of safety compliance, risk assessment and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
