Freight Forwarder – Air Freight Operations

About the role

As a Freight Forwarder based in Dublin, you will manage air freight shipments from origin to destination, ensuring all documentation, regulatory compliance and customer expectations are met. You will work within a fast‑paced environment where precision and proactive communication are essential to keep global trade flowing.

Key responsibilities

• Use internal systems to create and manage shipment documentation and operational processes.
• Organise workflows to meet customer deadlines and service level agreements.
• Communicate with customers to gather information, resolve issues and ensure their needs are addressed.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, airlines and partners to arrange transport of goods.
• Raise invoices and monitor profitability of shipments.
• Complete all administrative tasks in line with company policies.

Required profile

• Experience in air freight operations and a solid understanding of the air freight market.
• Strong planning, organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills, especially phone‑based customer interaction.
• High attention to detail and ability to prioritise under pressure.
• Commercial awareness of cost and profitability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
