Freight Forwarder – Hybrid (Greater Dublin)

About the role

The Freight Forwarder will coordinate domestic and international shipments for Kennedy International Transport, operating from Greater Dublin with a hybrid work model. This full‑time position ensures smooth movement of goods while maintaining high safety and compliance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule domestic and international freight shipments.
• Prepare, verify, and manage all transport and export documentation.
• Arrange appropriate freight services to meet customer requirements.
• Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal teams to track shipments and resolve issues.
• Monitor transport costs and ensure compliance with regulations and customs procedures.
• Update transport management systems with accurate shipment information.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in logistics, transportation, or supply‑chain coordination.
• Strong organizational, time‑management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Customer‑service orientation with the ability to respond promptly to inquiries.
• Knowledge of transport regulations and customs procedures (preferred).
