Fresh Food Advisor – Munster & Leinster

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic Fresh Food Advisor to support retailers across Munster and Leinster in delivering outstanding fresh‑food standards. In this field‑based role you will work directly with store teams, helping them grow sales, protect margins and meet food‑safety requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with retailers and fresh‑food teams to optimise sales and drive margin.
• Deliver hands‑on training to raise standards, capability and confidence in fresh‑food departments.
• Support the rollout of new ranges and innovations, improving displays and presentation.
• Provide practical advice on stock management, operational best practices and food‑safety compliance.
• Build trusted relationships with store managers and fresh‑food staff to achieve consistently high‑performing stores.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience working on a retail food‑service counter or fresh department (essential).
• Previous retail experience with a strong understanding of food safety preferred.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude, attention to detail and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Full, clean driving licence for field‑based travel.
