Full Stack Engineer – Web & Mobile Entertainment

About the role

Inflight Dublin is seeking a highly talented Full Stack Engineer to create innovative web and mobile entertainment applications for on‑board inflight entertainment systems and cloud environments. Your work will be experienced by millions of passengers across more than 40 airlines worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Write and maintain high‑quality code for a variety of web applications.
• Participate in architectural discussions and technology selection for green‑field projects.
• Test, troubleshoot, and fix bugs across the stack.
• Review pull requests and provide constructive feedback.
• Assist the DevOps team in creating CI/CD pipelines.
• Contribute to kickoff, grooming, and planning sessions for new and existing projects.
• Break down large bodies of work into manageable tasks.
• Mentor junior team members on best practices.
• Produce documentation and unit tests for all work.
• Leverage AI‑assisted development tools while ensuring generated code meets the same quality standards as hand‑written code.
• Share AI‑assisted development best practices and help shape responsible adoption within the team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Up to 5 years of full‑stack web development experience.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript and React.
• Experience building RESTful services with Node.js and Express.js.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB.
• Experience with styled components and CSS preprocessors (LESS, SASS).
• Solid understanding of Git/GitHub, web protocols, HTML5 APIs, and microservices architecture.
• Hands‑on use of AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) with sound judgement.
• Familiarity with AWS services such as S3 and EC2.
• Linux administration experience.
• Knowledge of Docker containerisation and deployment of containerised applications.
