Full Stack Software Engineer II – React & Java

About the role

Mastercard Payment Gateway Service (MPGS) is seeking a passionate Full Stack Software Engineer II to join its agile team. You will work on customer‑facing solutions that are secure, scalable, and deliver exceptional user experiences for digital payments.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, responsive user interfaces using React.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to ensure visual appeal and usability.
• Contribute to back‑end development and debugging using Java, Spring Boot, JPA and relational databases.
• Implement reusable, maintainable front‑end components and architecture.
• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives.
• Work closely with product, QA, and other stakeholders to align development with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2–5 years of experience in front‑end development with a solid understanding of back‑end concepts.
• Proven ability to build complex web applications from scratch.
