Full-time Catering Assistant – Fermoy

About the role

Supermac's in Fermoy is looking for a full‑time Catering Assistant to deliver friendly, high‑quality service across its food outlets, including Supermac’s, Papa John’s, SuperSubs, Mac’s Deli, Bewley’s Barista & Spar. The role involves cooking, serving, cleaning and interacting with customers to ensure a welcoming experience.

Key responsibilities

• Provide warm, friendly service to every customer and handle enquiries or complaints.
• Prepare, cook, serve and store food following company standards and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of the lobby, customer toilets and all work areas.
• Follow cash‑handling procedures and support the management team in driving sales.
• Work flexibly across all areas of the site as directed by the manager.

Required profile

• Outgoing personality with a passion for customer interaction.
• Availability to work weekdays and weekends, including early mornings and late evenings.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to high standards of hygiene and safety.

Required skills

• Basic cash handling and point‑of‑sale operation.
• Understanding of food preparation, production and storage procedures.
