Full‑time Carpenter – Residential & Commercial Projects

About the role

Comer Group Ireland is looking for a full‑time Carpenter to join its construction team in Sandyford, South Dublin. The role is a 24‑month fixed‑term contract, working on residential apartment developments and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out all carpentry and finishing works, including fitting, installation and repair of fixtures, fittings and household elements.
• Oversee site finishing works to ensure compliance with design specifications, quality standards and project timelines.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and trades personnel to ensure efficient delivery and sequencing of works.
• Monitor workmanship standards and proactively address defects or maintenance issues.
• Maintain communication with site management and property managers to resolve issues promptly.
• Assist with general site duties such as assembly and installation, and troubleshoot minor building or utilities problems.
• Ensure safe use, maintenance and storage of tools, equipment and plant, and prepare basic material requirements.

Required profile

• Experience in carpentry maintenance, construction or commercial environments.
• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, learn quickly and adapt flexibly.
• Full clean driver’s licence.
• Immediate availability.
