General Foreman – Civils Projects

About the role

Wills Bros Ltd is seeking an experienced General Foreman / Civils Foreman to lead site operations on major civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the Southeast Region of Ireland. This permanent, full‑time position will oversee daily activities on roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, concrete works and related civil packages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise site teams on civil engineering, infrastructure and public works projects.
• Coordinate daily activities including roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks, kerbing, paving and concrete works.
• Plan and sequence works in line with project programmes, method statements and drawings.
• Manage labour, plant, materials and subcontractors to meet productivity, quality and programme targets.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, Site Engineers and subcontractors to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards and client requirements.
• Promote health and safety, conduct toolbox talks, risk assessments and site inspections.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a site‑based foreman or construction supervisor on civil engineering projects.
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, utilities, earthworks and concrete works.
• Ability to manage teams, subcontractors and resources on large‑scale infrastructure sites.
• Commitment to health and safety standards and quality delivery.
