General Foreman – Residential Projects

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Foreman to lead the construction of a high‑end, one‑off residential development in South County Dublin. The role spans the full two‑year programme, from tender through to handover, and requires strong leadership of on‑site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all works comply with planning, health & safety, environmental standards and meet high‑quality expectations.
• Take full responsibility for project out‑turn from tender stage through construction and handover.
• Support project budget management in collaboration with the quantity surveyor and wider team.
• Prepare and maintain project, programme and risk management plans.
• Manage the flow of information to site teams, key stakeholders and partners.
• Lead both direct and indirect site personnel to keep the project on schedule.

Required profile

• 5+ years of site management experience with a main contractor or developer.
• Experience delivering apartment or high‑volume residential projects in Ireland or the UK.
• Proven track record of managing high‑quality housing projects.
• Strong team‑leadership abilities and excellent attention to detail.
• Fluent English and eligibility to work in Ireland.
• Groundworks or site development experience is an advantage.
