General Manufacturing Operator

About the role

Abbott is seeking a General Manufacturing Operator to join its Enteral Feeding Devices production team in Ireland. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality products while meeting safety, quantity and volume targets in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out direct production operations on assigned lines.
• Perform machine adjustments and routine equipment checks.
• Inspect products, record dispositions and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Handle materials, load and unload as required.
• Complete all required documentation and adhere to operating procedures.
• Support cost‑saving initiatives and participate in projects such as product transfers and equipment validation.
• Train new employees and assist with line clearances.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report any safety or environmental concerns.
