About the role
Dawn Meats Kildare is looking for reliable and hardworking General Operatives to join its production team at its primary facility in Kildare town. The role reports to the Production Manager and is based mainly in the Boning Hall. Positions are permanent, with entry-level, semi-skilled and advanced roles available.
Key responsibilities
- Work as part of a team in the factory, packing meat cuts and trims to customer specification on a paced production line to meet daily and weekly production targets
- Assist on the production area and support the production team
- Work in all areas of the factory
- Maintain good housekeeping standards everywhere
- Stay up to date with all products and complete all required training
- Follow work instructions and health and safety regulations
- Record data accurately and follow quality guidelines
- Be able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines
Required profile
- Ability to work to deadlines and on own initiative
- Interest in future development and progression
- Willingness to work in a busy production environment
