General Operative - Meat Production

About the role

Dawn Meats, one of Europe's leading food companies supplying supermarkets, foodservice and manufacturing businesses, is looking for General Operatives to join its production team in Charleville, Co. Cork. The position reports to the Production Manager and is permanent. The role is based mainly in the Boning Hall, where candidates work in a team on a paced production line packing meat cuts and trims to customer specification.

Key responsibilities

• Pack meat cuts and trims to customer specification on a paced production line, meeting daily and weekly production targets
• Assist on the production area and support the production team
• Work in all areas of the factory
• Maintain good housekeeping standards everywhere
• Stay up to date with all products and complete all required training
• Follow work instructions and health and safety regulations
• Record data accurately and follow quality guidelines
• Be able to work flexible hours to meet deadlines

• Entry-level, semi-skilled and advanced positions available
