General Operative – Warehouse Operations

About the role
BWG Foods are recruiting for a General Operative on a permanent full‑time basis at the Value Centre in Galway. The role supports warehouse operations, ensuring stock is replenished and orders are prepared efficiently.
Key responsibilities
- Replenish stock and merchandise point‑of‑sale displays.
- Load and unload pallets using an industrial racking system.
- Assemble customer orders.
- Conduct regular stock‑taking.
- Handle customer queries professionally.
- Participate in health, safety and security procedures.
- Perform housekeeping duties.
- Carry out additional tasks as directed by the manager.
Required profile
- Reach forklift experience with a current operator’s certificate.
- Customer‑focused, motivated and enthusiastic.
- Reliable, flexible and a can‑do attitude.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse.
- Good written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in ambient, chill and freezer areas and perform manual handling.
