Graduate Data Engineer / Data Analyst / Data Science Trainee

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated recent graduates with a strong interest in data engineering, analytics, and data science to join our growing team in Limerick. This full‑time trainee role offers hands‑on experience with modern data platforms, cloud technologies, analytics tools, and AI‑driven solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in building, maintaining, and optimizing data pipelines and ETL processes.
• Support data collection, cleansing, transformation, and validation activities.
• Work with structured and unstructured datasets for reporting and analytics.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and visualisations using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Excel.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
• Support data modelling, database management, and cloud‑based data solutions.
• Participate in AI, machine‑learning, and predictive‑analytics initiatives where applicable.
• Document technical processes, workflows, and data definitions.
• Contribute to process automation and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Python, R, Java, or similar programming languages (advantageous).
• Interest in AI, machine learning, big data, or data‑engineering technologies.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast‑paced environment.
