Graduate Engineer – September 2027 Intake

About the role

Join Cunningham as a Graduate Engineer in the September 2027 intake and start your engineering career on dynamic construction projects across Ireland and Europe. You will work on‑site, supporting project delivery while gaining hands‑on experience and professional development.

Key responsibilities

• Ensuring health, safety, environmental and quality requirements are met.
• Assist with surveying and setting‑out duties on site.
• Support the site management team to keep projects on time and within budget.
• Liaise with quantity surveyors on material ordering and pricing.
• Prepare drawings, calculations, risk assessments and method statements.
• Produce progress reports and conduct site investigations.
• Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors and clients to ensure work complies with specifications.

Required profile

• Degree or recent graduate in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or related discipline.
• Practical site experience gained through placement or paid employment.
• Legal right to work in the Republic of Ireland or the UK.
• Full driving licence and access to a vehicle is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using AutoCAD.
