Graduate Frontend Developer

About the role

Olive Tree Consulting is seeking a Graduate Frontend Developer to help build digital tools that support advisory engagements for a Dublin‑based financial firm. This fully remote position bridges strategic consulting work with practical, user‑focused interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain clean, responsive user interfaces using React and modern CSS.
• Convert wireframes and sketches into functional web components.
• Write maintainable styles to ensure visual consistency across internal tools.
• Collaborate with consulting teams to understand client workflows and data interaction.
• Refactor existing code for performance and readability.
• Test, debug, and resolve UI issues to provide a reliable experience.
• Document code and design decisions for team members.
• Participate in focused technical reviews.

Required profile

• Foundational knowledge of HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript.
• Basic experience with React or a similar component library from coursework or personal projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment.
• Attention to detail and an eye for simple, practical design.
