About the role

Join a leading semiconductor company’s GPU Software team in Cork to build next‑generation developer tools for graphics, ray tracing, machine learning and image processing. You will work on full‑stack solutions that help developers optimise code for cutting‑edge mobile and edge GPU architectures.

Key responsibilities

Design and implement profiling, debugging and performance‑analysis features for GPU tools.
Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams to validate performance and analyse results.
Debug complex issues, improve user experience and engage with developers, partners and OEMs.
Develop across the stack, from UI components to low‑level driver instrumentation.

Required profile

2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong programming knowledge in C/C++ or demonstrated proficiency with C#, Rust or Go.
Solid understanding of GPU hardware and core graphics concepts.

Required skills

C/C++, C#, Rust, Go
GPU architecture fundamentals and graphics pipelines
Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL
Unity, Unreal Engine (or similar game engines)
OpenCL, CUDA, SYCL
Debugging, profiling and tuning of real‑time graphics or compute applications
Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc
Ray tracing, mesh shading, work graphs
Image/video processing, data parallelism, machine‑learning algorithms
