Group Financial Controller

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing international fintech business to hire an experienced Group Financial Controller on an initial six‑month fixed‑term contract. This high‑visibility position will support global finance operations, drive financial control across multiple jurisdictions, and work closely with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage group finance operations, including controllership, reporting, cash‑flow management, payroll oversight and financial analysis.
• Lead consolidated month‑end and period‑end close activities for the entire group.
• Oversee audit processes across all entities and coordinate with external auditors.
• Prepare accurate financial statements in line with relevant accounting standards.
• Partner with senior leadership and divisional finance teams to provide strategic financial insight.
• Support the enhancement of financial controls, governance and risk‑management frameworks.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) with 5+ years post‑qualification experience in a Group Financial Controller or similar senior finance role.
• Strong experience in consolidations and group reporting.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional stakeholders in a large or complex corporate environment.
• Excellent analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast‑changing environment.
