Group HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Talent Acquisition

About the role

MTM Engineering is looking for an experienced Group HR Generalist to support the full employee lifecycle, with a primary focus on employee relations and talent acquisition. You will act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees, helping to maintain a positive workplace culture across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line HR support to managers and staff, handling queries and advising on policy.
• Manage employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance and performance matters.
• Conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent outcomes.
• Promote engagement initiatives and facilitate conflict resolution.
• Support end‑to‑end recruitment: job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding.
• Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies and maintain talent pipelines.
• Analyse recruitment metrics and implement improvements.
• Assist in developing, communicating and maintaining HR policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems.
• Contribute to performance management, employee surveys and compliance with legislation.

Required profile

• Minimum 3‑5 years of experience in an HR Generalist or similar role.
• Proven experience handling employee relations matters.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and best practice.
• Ability to act as a trusted advisor to managers and employees.
• Willingness to travel across Ireland as required.
