Head of Finance – Dublin

About the role

The global financial services firm is looking for an experienced Head of Finance to lead its Irish entity from the Dublin office. Reporting to the Ireland CEO and working closely with the UK‑based CFO, you will be responsible for steering finance operations and supporting the company’s growth strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all financial controls, daily operations and statutory reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulatory requirements and oversee external reporting.
• Design and implement robust financial controls and processes.
• Represent the Irish business on the global board and facilitate strategic growth initiatives.
• Deliver accurate annual returns and financial statements.
• Lead, develop and recruit a finance team of 5‑6 members.

Required profile

• Fully qualified accountant with PCF11 qualification.
• Proven experience as a Head of Finance, Finance Director or board member within the financial services sector.
• Deep knowledge of Irish financial regulations and legislation.
• Advanced presentation abilities and strong stakeholder management.
• Experience in FTSE 250/350 financial services organisations is desirable.
• Exposure to motor financing or leasing is a plus.
