Head of Information Technology

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Information Technology to shape and execute the organisation's IT strategy, oversee service delivery, and drive digital transformation. Reporting to the Executive Leadership Team, you will manage both internal and outsourced IT services, ensuring secure, reliable, and business‑focused technology across a highly regulated, critical infrastructure environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the IT strategy and technology roadmap aligned with business objectives.
• Manage outsourced IT providers, ensuring strong service delivery and governance.
• Deliver infrastructure, digital transformation, and IT capital projects.
• Oversee the ServiceNow platform and ITIL service management processes.
• Lead field technicians and national IT support services.
• Ensure cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity, and regulatory compliance.
• Control IT budgets, vendor relationships, procurement, and technology contracts.
• Develop a high‑performing IT team and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Required profile

• Degree in IT, Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of IT experience, including 3+ years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience managing managed service providers and enterprise IT operations.
• Demonstrated delivery of infrastructure and digital transformation projects.
• Strong leadership, commercial acumen and stakeholder management abilities.
