Head of Procurement & Supply Chain

About the role

Timoney Dynamic Solutions Limited is seeking a senior leader to head its Procurement & Supply Chain function. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will shape a resilient, cost‑effective supply chain that supports engineering, production, aftermarket and maintenance operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a company‑wide procurement and supply‑chain strategy aligned with operational, engineering, financial and production goals.
• Lead sourcing and purchasing of production components, engineered parts, fabricated and machined items, OEM components, critical spares, MRO supplies, tooling, consumables and services.
• Establish a structured approach for spares and MRO, ensuring critical items are identified, stocked appropriately and available when required.
• Design and manage stocking policies for spare parts, MRO items and production materials, including safety stock, reorder points and long‑lead planning.
• Optimise working capital tied up in inventory while protecting the business from stock‑outs and production delays.
• Build and develop a resilient supplier base capable of supporting low‑volume, high‑value engineering and manufacturing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior procurement or supply‑chain leadership roles.
• Demonstrated ability to develop cost‑effective, quality‑focused supply chains.
• Strong track record of improving supplier performance and reducing supply‑chain risk.
• Experience managing inventory, stock policies and working‑capital optimisation.
