Head of Regulatory Compliance

About the role

Revolut is seeking a Head of Regulatory Compliance to lead the compliance function for its French entity. You will ensure that all products and operations meet local and international regulatory requirements while fostering a strong compliance culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Set up and lead the Regulatory Compliance function, ensuring adherence to regulations such as PSD2, MiFID, MiCA and GDPR.
• Support the Chief Compliance Officer and collaborate with Financial Crime and Group Regulatory Compliance teams.
• Design and implement a scalable compliance programme aligned with group standards and regulatory expectations.
• Partner with Product, Engineering and Operations to embed compliance controls into platforms and customer journeys.
• Monitor regulatory changes, update risk assessments, policies and procedures, and ensure appropriate controls.
• Provide training and awareness on compliance responsibilities across teams.
• Engage with regulators, manage regulatory reporting and support inspections, reviews and audits.
• Advise senior leadership on compliance risks and deliver regular reporting.

Required profile

• 10+ years of regulatory compliance experience, preferably in large banks or high‑growth fintech companies.
• Proven ability to develop and oversee compliance programmes and manage relationships with regulators.
• Strong understanding of European banking regulations (PSD2, MiFID, MiCA, GDPR) and ability to translate them into operational controls.
• Excellent communication skills and experience advising senior management.
