Head of SEO and AI Visibility

About the role

This senior leadership position is based in Ireland and will define and scale a global organic growth strategy for a fast‑moving, product‑led company. You will own the evolution of SEO beyond traditional search, expanding visibility across AI‑driven discovery channels and large language model ecosystems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a global SEO strategy covering technical SEO, content, on‑page and off‑page initiatives to boost organic visibility, qualified traffic and revenue.
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of SEO specialists and external contributors, fostering a culture of experimentation and continuous improvement.
• Prioritise the SEO roadmap based on business goals, revenue targets, organic performance metrics and AI visibility indicators such as citations and brand presence in AI search.
• Design and implement AI visibility optimisation strategies to improve discoverability on AI search platforms and large language models.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing and Analytics teams to embed SEO priorities into product development and technical enhancements.
• Establish a structured experimentation framework, conduct regular SEO health audits, track KPIs and communicate insights to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an SEO leader in a global or fast‑growth environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with data‑driven decision‑making capabilities.
• Passion for emerging AI‑driven discovery technologies and willingness to innovate.
• Excellent communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and senior stakeholders.
