Head of Supply Chain – Aviation MRO

About the role

Atlantic Aviation Group is seeking a senior leader to head its Supply Chain function at the Shannon Airport facility. The role combines strategic vision with hands‑on operational oversight to ensure that materials, procurement, stores and logistics support on‑time aircraft maintenance and modification services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Materials, Procurement and Logistics strategy aligned with AAG’s operational priorities.
• Lead, coach and develop the Materials, Stores and Logistics teams, acting as the escalation point for operational challenges.
• Build strong customer understanding and embed customer‑centric decision‑making across the supply chain.
• Drive continuous improvement, benchmark against industry best practice and introduce innovative R&D initiatives.
• Maintain robust succession planning, capability development and high leadership standards.
• Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Finance and Quality functions.
• Establish strategic supplier partnerships and position AAG as a preferred industry partner.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence at all times.
• Promote technology adoption, including AI and digital tools, to improve speed, accuracy and efficiency.
• Deliver projects on time, within budget and to required safety and quality standards, providing clear reporting.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in supply chain, procurement or logistics, preferably within an MRO or aviation environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with a track record of delivering cost‑effective, compliant inventory and logistics solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
