Healthcare Assistant – Up to €21.50/hr, Flexible Hours

About the role

We are looking for compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join our supportive care team in Westmeath and surrounding areas. The role offers flexible hours, competitive pay and the chance to make a real difference in clients' daily lives.

Key responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing and meal preparation.
• Support mobility and encourage independence in daily activities.
• Provide companionship, emotional support and monitor wellbeing.
• Report any concerns or changes in health status to the senior care team.
• Help maintain a safe, comfortable home environment for each client.

Required profile

• Full Irish driving licence and reliable access to a car.
• QQI Level 5 or equivalent caring qualification.
• Positive, reliable attitude with a genuine desire to help others.
• Previous experience in care is advantageous but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
