Hotel Sales Manager

About the role

The Royal Marine Hotel is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive revenue growth and strengthen client relationships across key market segments. You will work closely with senior leadership to position the hotel locally and internationally, meeting sales targets and supporting long‑term business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities in the local corporate and conference market.
• Maintain and grow an agreed portfolio of accounts, meeting weekly appointment targets.
• Conduct market research, monitor competitor rates and benefits, and track lost leads for future opportunities.
• Execute sales activities such as sales trips, telesales, site inspections, corporate hospitality events, familiarisation trips, and trade‑show attendance.
• Set and manage annual sales budgets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel sales role.
• Full clean driver’s licence and own transport.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and a positive, customer‑focused attitude.
• Self‑motivated with strong leadership capabilities.
