Housekeeping Porter

About the role

Adare Manor is seeking a motivated Housekeeping Porter to join its award‑winning Housekeeping team on a fixed‑term basis until October 2026. This hands‑on position supports the delivery of the resort’s renowned standards of cleanliness and guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure sufficient linen and towel supplies for efficient room service.
• Return dirty linen to laundry promptly.
• Assist the accommodation team with moving beds and furniture.
• Perform high‑cleaning and deep‑cleaning tasks throughout the resort.
• Remove rubbish and maintain back‑of‑house housekeeping areas.
• Support room servicing when required.
• Uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and organisation in guest and employee areas.

Required profile

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Excellent organisational skills and outstanding attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Flexibility to work a roster of 5 days over 7, including weekends.
• Full, clean driving licence (driving is part of the role).
