About the role
This 12‑month fixed‑term HR Business Partner role supports a defined business unit in Dublin, combining strategic insight with day‑to‑day HR operations. You will partner with senior leaders to drive performance, engagement and retention while working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite, 2 days remote).
Key responsibilities
- Partner with Business Unit leadership to deliver the people strategy.
- Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding through exit.
- Lead workforce and resource planning to meet future capability needs.
- Support and coach managers on performance, probation and talent management.
- Develop and implement employee retention initiatives.
- Lead disciplinary investigations and hearings.
- Drive succession planning with clear action plans.
- Prepare and present HR updates, data and people metrics to senior leadership.
- Oversee the annual pay review process.
- Provide day‑to‑day HR guidance across the business.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and practices.
Required profile
- Strong experience in an HR Business Partner or senior HR Generalist role.
- Excellent influencing, coaching and presentation capabilities.
- Resilient and confident, able to thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Relevant third‑level qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline.
- CIPD membership desirable but not essential.
Required skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., Advanced HR or similar).
