HR Generalist – 9 Month Contract in Dublin

About the role

We are seeking an HR Generalist to join a leading global organisation’s People team in Dublin on a 9‑month contract. You will act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers across Ireland and the wider EMEA region, helping to deliver a seamless employee experience throughout the lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for HR queries, offering guidance to employees and managers.
• Manage onboarding activities from offer acceptance through the first day, ensuring a positive experience.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR data, guaranteeing compliance and data integrity.
• Support payroll, benefits, leave administration and employee documentation processes.
• Advise managers on HR policies, procedures and best practices, escalating complex matters when needed.
• Build strong relationships with HR Business Partners, specialist teams, Payroll, Legal and external providers.
• Contribute to HR projects and process‑improvement initiatives that enhance efficiency and employee experience.
• Promote employee engagement initiatives and support an inclusive workplace culture.

Required profile

• Previous experience in an HR Advisory, HR Coordinator or HR Operations role within a fast‑paced environment.
• Solid understanding of the employee lifecycle and core HR processes.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, customer‑focused approach with meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Experience with HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
