HR Generalist – Healthcare Organisation

About the role

We are partnering with a large healthcare organisation to add an HR Generalist to their busy, collaborative People team. This role offers broad exposure to operational HR, employee relations and day‑to‑day HR administration within a fast‑paced, people‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day HR support and guidance to managers and employees.
• Manage employee relations cases, including investigations, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management.
• Prepare contracts, employee letters and other HR documentation.
• Coordinate onboarding and off‑boarding processes and maintain employee records.
• Support payroll administration and HR reporting as required.
• Assist with recruitment coordination, interview scheduling and candidate communication.
• Help with learning and development administration, training scheduling and record‑keeping.
• Promote employee engagement, induction and development initiatives.
• Advise managers on HR policy and Irish employment legislation.
• Contribute to HR projects, process improvements and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience as an HR Generalist or HR Administrator with strong operational exposure.
• Demonstrated employee‑relations experience.
• Background in healthcare, hospital, nursing home, care or another regulated environment is preferred.
• Good understanding of Irish employment law.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• Comfortable working in a busy, fast‑paced setting.
• Hands‑on, approachable and eager to learn and develop.
