HR Generalist – Talent & Capability

About the role

The Talent & Capability Generalist will support the delivery and coordination of talent development initiatives across Abbott's large manufacturing facility. This position plays a key part in fostering a culture of continuous learning by managing programmes such as course funding, lifelong learning, succession planning and talent management.

Key responsibilities

• Provide administrative support for Talent & Capability activities, including scheduling, tracking and reporting on training programmes.
• Manage, analyse and translate large volumes of data into accurate insights and stakeholder‑ready presentations.
• Coordinate logistics for internal and external training sessions, covering venues, materials and participant communications.
• Maintain and update talent databases, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Assist with the preparation of reports on succession planning and development programme outcomes.

Required profile

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
• Excellent analytical and communication abilities.
• Proven experience handling large datasets efficiently.
• Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, dashboards and data visualisation techniques.
