HR Manager – Hospitality

About the role

The Grace, Westport Estate is looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead our people strategy and enhance the employee experience within a hospitality setting. You will work closely with senior leadership and department heads to deliver strategic and operational HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day HR operations and develop policies aligned with the estate’s values.
• Manage recruitment, selection, onboarding and induction programmes.
• Provide guidance to managers on employee relations, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Drive employee engagement, wellbeing initiatives and a positive workplace culture.
• Identify learning needs and coordinate training and development programmes.
• Support succession planning and talent development.
• Ensure compliance with Irish employment legislation and maintain accurate HR records.
• Monitor HR metrics, produce reports and insights for senior management.
• Administer employee benefits, leave, and HR systems.

Required profile

• Degree or professional qualification in Human Resources or a related field.
• 3–5 years of HR experience, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing abilities.
• Proven experience handling employee relations matters confidently.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Discreet and professional handling of confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Experience using HRIS platforms.
